About Me
Hi, I’m Theophilia.
Welcome to My Corner of the Internet! A Space for Healing, Growth, and Transformation
I’m so glad you’re here. I promise you, it is not all dark and gloomy. I just love black and white photos.
This is where I share my journey of healing, growth, and transformation, and I hope it encourages you on your faith journey. If you didn’t know, although I’ve plastered this everywhere, this is a Faith Blog and a Christian Blog. Here, i share some Christian encouragement to help you with Christian living, right living.
Having experienced seasons of pain, grief, disappointment, and brokenness, I know firsthand how heavy emotional burdens can be. At one point, I felt like a “dead man walking” stuck in the shadows of my heartache. But God has shown me that breaking down is often the first step toward rebuilding. And that’s what this blog is all about: tearing down what no longer serves us to make room for something new, something beautiful.
My journey truly began when I stumbled upon Jeremiah 1:10, where God speaks to the prophet, saying, "See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant." That verse hit me like a wake-up call. It reminded me that we weren’t made to stay stuck in our messes or get trapped in our brokenness. God doesn’t want us wallowing in pain or defeat forever. He’s calling us to take action to tear down the things that hold us back, to rebuild what’s been lost, and to plant seeds of new growth in our lives. It’s a powerful reminder that we’re not here to just survive, but to rise, rebuild, and ultimately thrive.
In this space, I share my stories, my testimonies, and the lessons I’ve learned. I believe that being open and honest about our struggles allows us to heal and helps others heal, too. I don’t just want to focus on the hard moments; I want to celebrate the breakthroughs, restoration, and the joy that follows the tears. Healing is a process, and joy is possible. Sometimes we just need to walk through grief before we can embrace it.
Ecclesiastes 3:2–4 says, "A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance."
This verse has been such a grounding truth for me. It’s taught me that healing isn’t a straight path; it comes in waves. Sometimes we have to uproot what no longer serves us, what’s been toxic, painful, or dead. And that hurts. It can feel like tearing something out of your soul.
But after the uprooting? There's room to plant again. Room for new growth, new joy, new purpose.
It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to mourn. But those seasons don’t last forever. Eventually, God brings the laughter back. The dancing. The fresh soil and the fresh start.
That’s what I hope this space becomes for you: a place where it’s safe to feel the full weight of life, but also a place where you’re reminded you were made to rise, to grow, to laugh again... and yes, even to dance again.
Whether you’re struggling to break free from your past, working through emotional pain, or simply looking for encouragement, I’m here to walk alongside you. You’re not alone in this journey. We are in this together, and I hope you leave this space feeling seen, understood, and ready to take the next step in your healing.
You’re not alone. Healing can be a long road, but together, we can find restoration.
With Love,
Tears 🖤
